Born in Tokyo in 1977. Earned a bachelor’s degree from the School of Political Science and Economics at Waseda University.
Established Minamoza in 2001. Has released works as a playwright and theater director.
Well-known works include “Emotional Labor,” “Hot Particle,” “Yubi (Fingers),” “Die Wolke” and “Familia.”
Won a prize for outstanding work at the 23rd Yomiuri Theater Awards for “Karera no Teki (Their Enemy)” and a prize at the 42nd Hoso Bunka Fund Awards for the script of radio drama “Ai-chan wa Maboroshi” (Ai is an Illusion).
Released the film “Azumi Haruko wa Yukue Fumei” (Azumi Haruko is Missing) in 2016.
